3 mental mistakes that keep you stuck

Does it ever feel like fear and anxiety keep you stuck? You’re not alone. Here’s why.

Our minds are programmed to keep us away from dangerous things like tigers. This can be a good thing in some situations, but when it comes to getting stuff done, it can really complicate matters. Especially if you’re not living in the jungle.

In order to keep us alive (avoiding tigers) our brains trick us into making three mental mistakes. That’s what the v-log for this week is all about.

Here’s what I want for you.  I want you to be able to see the real tigers clearly and deal with them effectively. I want you to have the courage, knowledge, and strength to recognize when there’s tiger in the bush and when there isn’t.

I want you to be able to determine whether the fears you have are real or whether your brain tricking you.

The first step in overcoming fear is knowledge, as you increase knowledge you decrease fear. Now that you have more knowledge about how your mind works you can use it to your advantage.

I’m here for you. If you want your question answered next time send me your question.

Thank you for tuning in and I’ll catch you next time!

On your side. Always and with love.

The quality of your videos went up since you came back. It's nice.

This week's message helps me a lot because I've been focusing way too much on imaginary tigers lately. It's causing me to hide in front of the TV instead of going out and doing the fun and interesting things I'd like to do.

I love this video and blog. It is definitely helpful especially when we are focusing on all the negative and pain and anxieties when we could be focusing on what we do have including our own resources and positive support.
